hi , wondering if you can help me as ive tried this loads of time and am not getting any joy, maybe im missing something!!
The program itself i find ok and usable i have not problem with it as it does do the cab files. my problem is that once it has created the cab files and i move the files to my pocket pc (im using t-moble mda 111 Windows Mobile 2003 second edition) when i run the setup on my mda it runs fine and setups the application that i run. but when i go to execute the program i;e truespace(thats what i want to open) it says this is not a ppc application. Ive tried with different softwares to try an convert it to ppc, but still no joy. just wondering if anybody knows the problem or is it me doing something wrong or is it just the pitular programs i am choosing that wont convert to ppc mode. thank you in advance for your help.

I don't understand very well your question. But as I can guest, you try to run a win32 executable under your PPC. This can't be done, and as far I know, there isn't any converter of that type.

Are you sure that the program you want to run, actually can be executed under PPC ?

I thought that this pocket pc installation creator software was for creating progams to run on your ppc, am i correct? well my question is that i am having trouble doing so as when i have used the program to create cab files for a a particular program like truespace which i have on my pc but would like to have it on my ppc it does not run, even though i have gone through the steps on ppc installation creator! it makes cab files and setups it up on my ppc, but like i said when i go to run the program on my ppc it says this is not a ppc application. so i am asking can i take say a windows program and convert it to ppc format and run on my ppc? if not, can you tell me what this program does then cos i might be mistaken (most likley) cos i thought this program was for making the cab files for ppc so it could run. hope im making sense. if it is not the program can you tell me what program i need then to convert my pc software into ppc format please much thanks for you taking time to read this.

No, this program simple creates installations for Pocket PC Programs. If a program isn't created for PPC then can't be run in PPC, even if you have created a installation for it...

There isn't any program for doing the conversion you want. And it is impossible to run a win32 executable into your PPC. They are two absolutely different platforms, mainly the only common thing is the word "windows" into their title (and maybe their API).

Let's say you are a programmer. You make a PPC program and you want to distribute it to the end users. Here is where the PPCIC plays it's role. Creates the cab(s) files and the windows installations. And as you said, the PPC applications have installations, that means someone made them in some way
