TOPIC: Adding files with no extensions

Adding files with no extensions 3 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi Nick,

There's one small issue, I have many files without extensions that have to be included in the installation. PPCIC does not recognise these files and the only way I can think of to get around this is to rename all of the files with an extension and then manually edit the .inf file to change the destination name of the files back to their original name (i.e. without an extension).

Is there an easier way to solve my problem?

Regards,

Justin.

I can't look into this issue for the moment, because i am away from my development PC. But there is a easy way. In the window where the you can add files, to the top there is an editbox. There you can type mabnually the filename and by pressing add the filename will be added into the list.

Hope that this solutions helps you, before fixing your issue
